Reporting on HR Actions, Payroll & Employee Assignment Data

Important Notes:

  • You must have security access to run the reports listed below.

  • If you need to request access to a report (or update your existing access to include departments), submit the Access Request Form.

    • When submitting the access request, include the name of the report and the departments you need to gather data about.

    • When listing departments in your request, list the five digit department number or hierarchy roll up (e.g. COHS = College of Health Sciences). Hierarchy roll ups and department IDs are listed in the Hierarchies for Reporting resource.

Department Manager Listing

  1. Department Manager Listing Report: provides a list of Human Resource department IDs and department manager names.

Reporting on Employee Time Cards & Absences

  1. Employee Time Card Details: provides information about time card entries.

  2. Employees Without a Time Card: provides information about employees that are missing a time card for the related pay period.

  3. Employee Absence: provides information about employee absences within a specified period of time.

  4. Employee Leave Summary by Pay Period: provides current pay period information about employee leave balances.

  5. Employee Leave Summary Year to Date: provides year to date information about employee leave balances.

  6. Comp Time Balance Detail: provides information about employees with current comp and pre-comp balances.

Reporting on Employee Funding & Pay

  1. Active Employee Funding and Pay: provides overview about employee assignment funding.

  2. Employee Funding and Pay (Historical Data): provides historical information about assignment actions (eg hire, data change) and related funding.

  3. Employee Hours and Pay: provides provides earnings and funding information for employee’s based on date earned.

  4. Payroll Costing Report (PCR): provides information about payroll elements (wages, supplemental pay and fringe benefits), the associated amounts and the associated costing.

  5. Expense Distribution Report (EDR): provides an overview of payroll information.

  6. Salary Data Ledger: provides payroll data like costing segments and amounts for hours worked and fringe benefits.

  7. Work Study Dashboard: provides information about work study balances.

Reporting on Employee Assignment Details, Manager Self Service Actions & Faculty Schedule Details

  1. Active Employee Details: provides an overview of employee information like pay type, standard weekly hours, job code, benefit status and more.

  2. Employee Minimal Detail: provides basic information about employee assignments.

  3. Back Office Daily Actions: provides information about completed HR Manager Self Service actions.

  4. Classified Probation Dates: provides information about classified employee probation dates.

  5. Employee Employment Actions: provides information about completed employment actions.

  6. Expected Employment End Date: provides information about upcoming end dates for temporary employees.

  7. Employee Employment Status: provides information about employee status (active v inactive).

  8. Employee Separation: provides information about Benefit eligible and Adjuncts employees who separated one day prior.

  9. Faculty Detail: provides an overview to managers/business managers of faculty specific information (tenure, academic ranks, etc.)

  10. Instructor Schedule Results: provides an overview of instructor schedules and credits being taught.

  11. New Hires: provides business managers with a list of new hires based on their assignment effective start date, including future dated hires.
