New Hires Report
Important Notes:
This report provides business managers with a list of new hires based on their assignment effective start date, including future dated hires.
Business managers can use this report to find new hire employee data, such as employee ID, before an assignment start date so they can submit access requests before the first day of work.
If you need to request report access, or update the departments you need access to, submit an Access Request Form. When submitting the access request, include the name of the report and any other details that might be needed.
Step 1: Locate and Launch the Report
Access Boise State Reporting HR/Payroll and locate New Hires.
There are two views in Boise State Reporting: Card and List.
Change your view by selecting either List View or Card View in the upper navigation.
By default, this report launches with the category filter set to “All Reports”. Use the Filter by Category drop-down to view reports specific to one area of reporting
Favorite commonly used reports, by selecting Favorite in card view and the star icon in list view.
After locating the New Hires, select Launch on the report card or Launch located on the right side of the report name if you’re in list view.
Step 2: Enter the Assignment Start Date
Enter an assignment effective start date in the Assignment Start Date Greater Than field and select Apply to return results on active new hires and future dated hires.
The report output will generate with the following information:
Person Number
Assignment Number
Preferred Name
Email
Assignment Title
Assignment Effective Start Date
Assignment Seniority Date
Enterprise Seniority Date
Termination Date or projected end date
Max Separation Date
Department
People Group
Manager Name
Action
Primary Indicator: Identifies if the assignment is the primary employee assignment
Action Reason
