Add Favorite Funding, Project Segments & Requester Name to Purchase Requisitions
Important Notes:
Create favorites within the Purchase Requisition section of Bronco Hub so that you don’t have to manually enter common information for each request.
Favorites can be created for commonly used Charge Accounts (funding strings), project segments, and requisition requester.
Step 1: Log in to Bronco Hub and Access Purchase Requisitions
Begin by signing in to Bronco Hub.
Select the My Organization tab from the top navigation section of Bronco Hub and select Purchase Requisitions.
Step 2: Access and Update Requisition Preferences
Select Preferences.
You can change the following defaults so they automatically populate on Requisitions you create:
Requester: The supervisor of the employee listed as the Requisition “Requester” will be added to the approval workflow for submitted Requisitions.
Deliver to Location: Defaults to the mail stop of the employee selected in the Requisition’s Requester field.
If you’ve noticed your mail stop is incorrect, review the Employee Work Locations Changes job aid to update your mail stop.
Alternatively, if you have a need to override the mail stop information for your orders, search for your preferred location in the Deliver to Location field.
Project costing: Add details to the project fields if you’ll be making frequent or high sponsored project purchases.
Funding Segment String: Called Charge accounts in the Requisition module.
Select the + icon to the right of Charge Accounts to enter a Funding Segment String and Nickname for each.
Multiple Funding Segment Strings can be saved in Requisition Preferences but only one can be designated as Primary by selecting the Set as primary checkbox.
Please Note: Project Funding information saved in Requisition Preferences will automatically populate in every future Requisition Line created and will need to be manually deleted if Requisition is being billed to another Funding Segment String.
What’s next:
Requisition Preferences can be updated or deleted at any time by accessing the Preferences section outlined in the steps above.
