What are Manager Self Service Actions?

Manager Self Service (MSS) actions are Human Resource actions completed on behalf of a direct report or another employee that falls within your designated area of responsibility.

Approve / View Manager Self Service Actions

  1. View and Take Action on HR Manager Self Service Actions

  2. Add and a One Time (Ad Hoc) Approver to the Approval Workflow

  3. Delegate Your Approval Authority (Create & Enable a Delegation Rule)

  4. Delegate Your Approval Authority (Disable a Delegation Rule)

  5. View Approval Workflow for Submitted HR Actions (hires, salary changes, promotions, etc)

  6. View Submitted Manager Self Service Actions

Time Cards, Absences and Approvals

  1. Approve Time Cards & Absences

  2. Delegate Your Time Card & Absence Approval Authority to Another Employee

  3. Create and Submit a Time Card for Another Employee

  4. Edit or View a Time Card for Another Employee

  5. View Leave (sick, vacation, etc) Accrual Balances & Existing Absences for a Direct Report

  6. Create and Submit an Absence for Another Employee

Hire, Rehire and Additional Assignments

  1. Add an Assignment to an Existing Employee
