What do I need to know about Time Cards?

  • Salaried employees do not create or submit time cards.

  • Hourly employees create and submit time cards to report hours worked for each applicable pay period.

What do I need to know about Absences?

  • Benefit eligible employees accrue vacation and sick leave. Visit Benefits for accrual details.

  • Salaried employees must submit absences / time off in the Absences section of Bronco Hub.

  • Hourly employees can enter absence hours on their time cards OR they can submit requests in advance in the Absences section of Bronco Hub. If the absence is entered via Absences, it will be added to the applicable time card.

Who do I contact for support?

  • Most faculty and professional staff are exempt employees and paid a bi-weekly salary, meaning time is only entered in Bronco Hub for leave or absences.

  • Classified staff, student employees, and all other hourly non-exempt staff should enter their hours worked each week every Monday. Timecards will route to line managers (supervisors) for approval.

  • Benefit eligible employees can submit absences (time off) by creating a timecard for the leave or they can submit the request in advance be navigating to Absences in Bronco Hub. If you are an hourly employee and you enter an absence in Absences, the information will be added to the applicable timecard.

Supervisors are responsible for confirming accuracy of submission and taking action (approve/reject) on time and absences submitted by direct reports. Supervisor receive an email notification when a timecard or absence is submitted.
