Salary Change Overview

Salary changes may be submitted for an employee due to a variety of reasons (e.g. merit increase or performance based raise).

Individual Compensation Overview

Individual Compensation may be submitted for an employee as a one-time or recurring payment to an employee for summer earnings or additional/supplemental pay. Hourly non-exempt employees (students, classified, temp non bens) are not eligible if the additional pay is for wages.

  1. One time- A payment that will be paid out in a single pay period on one paycheck.  

  2. Recurring- A payment that will be paid out over multiple pay periods.  The total amount listed on the form will be dispersed evenly amongst all pay periods between the payroll start date and the payroll end date.

Types of additional pay/ individual compensation:

  5. Recruitment Bonus (attachment required)

  7. Summer Earnings (off contract)

  8. Supplemental Pay

  9. Supplemental Pay Faculty (on contract).

Supplemental Pay for Benefit Eligible Faculty and Staff

  • Supplemental Pay is only applicable for Benefit Eligible Employees

  • Supplemental Pay Faculty is applicable for On Contract Faculty

  • Supplemental Pay is applicable for Professional, Temporary Exempt Employees

    • non-exempt classified and student employees receive overtime for extra work

  • Summer Salary is applicable for Faculty and Professional staff for Off contract work that’s less than 12-month
