Employees can edit historical time cards and absences 30 days before the current date. If you need to edit a historical time card or absence greater than 30 days old, submit an HR ServiceNow Ticket.
Submitted time cards route to the employee’s supervisor for review and approval before routing to Payroll for processing.
Hourly staff time cards are due on Mondays. Visit the payroll calendar for due dates.
Step 1: Log in to Bronco Hub and Access Time and Abscences
Begin by signing in to Bronco Hub.
Select Me from the top navigation section of Bronco Hub and then select Time and Absences.
Step 2: Select Existing Time Cards
Select on the Existing Time Cards tile to create or edit a time card from a prior pay period.
If you need to submit or edit hours for the current pay period, exit the existing time card and access the Current Time Card. Instructions to access and manage existing (prior) time cards are outlined in the Create, Submit, Edit or View Your Time Card for the Current Pay Period job aid.
Step 3: Select Pay Period and Edit Time Card OR Create a Time Card
IF you are creating a new time card, select Add in the upper right corner. Select a date within the applicable pay period to create the time card. 🛑 To continue with instructions for creating a new time card, follow the instructions outlined here to add assignment and reported time details and do not continue with the instructions below.
IF you are editing a time card you previously created, locate the pay period dates for the time card you wish to update and select on the hyperlinked dates and continue following the instructions below.
To edit an entry, select the Edit icon to the right of the Date you wish to update.
If needed, update or remove the costing information on the time card by updating the information in the Cost Center, Fund, Department, Supplemental, and Project fields.
DO NOT ENTER anything in the Cost Center, Fund, Department, Supplemental and Project fields unless explicitly told to do so by your supervisor.
Make all applicable changes and select Ok.
Step 4: Confirm Time Entry & Costing Information
Confirm the dates, hours, title and time entry reason (eg Hours Worked or Vacation), prior to saving or submitting time card entry. To view Time and Absence Reporting Codes, select here.
In the example below, time entry includes 8 hours worked June 1 - June 3. 4 hours worked on June 4 and 4 hours vacation on June 4.
Step 5: Save and Close or Submit
You can save your time card to add or edit it later or you can submit your time card to your supervisor for their review and approval.
To Save but not Submit your time card, navigate to the top of the page and select Actions then select Save and Close.
If your time card is complete and ready to be submitted to your line manager for approval, select Submit.
As a best practice, wait until the end of the pay period to submit your time card for manager approval. Managers get an email each time a time card is submitted.
What’s next:
Once your time card is submitted, your supervisor will receive a notification to review and approve or reject your time card. You will receive an email after your supervisory takes action on your time card; if your time card is rejected or sent back to you for corrections, you must edit and resubmit your time card for approval and processing.
