Step 3: Select Pay Period and Edit Time Card OR Create a Time Card
IF you are creating a new time card, select Add in the upper right corner. Select a date within the applicable pay period to create the time card. 🛑 To continue with instructions for creating a new time card, follow the instructions outlined here to add assignment and reported time details and do not continue with the instructions below, select the Existing Time Cards card.

Step 3: Access Time Card to Edit
IF you are editing a time card via Existing Time Cards, locate the pay period dates for the time card you wish to update and select the hyperlinked dates.
IF you are editing a time card you previously created, locate the pay period dates for the time card you wish to update and select on the hyperlinked dates and continue following the instructions belowvia Current Time Cards, the current time card entries will populate.

To edit an entry, select the Edit icon to the right of the Date you wish to update.

If needed, update or remove the costing information on the time card by updating the information in the Cost Center, Fund, Department, Supplemental, and Project fields.

You can save your time card to add or edit it later or you can submit your time card to your supervisor for their review and approval.

As a best practice, wait until the end of the pay period to submit your time card for manager approval. Managers get an email each time a time card is submitted. |
What’s next:
Once your time card is submitted, your supervisor will receive a notification to review and approve or reject your time card. You will receive an email after your supervisory takes action on your time card; if your time card is rejected or sent back to you for corrections, you must edit and resubmit your time card for approval and processing.
