This report allows users to quickly search for Accounts Receivable

Customers

customers to determine the amount(s) due, the amount remaining, and days past due for invoices by funding source data, customer name, and transaction date.

Step 1: Locate and Launch the Report

  1. Access Boise State Reporting Budget & Finance and locate the AR Aging Report.

  1. After locating the AR Aging Report, select Launch on the report card or Launch located on the right side of the report name if you’re in list view.

Step 2: Update Report Search Parameters

  1. Use the parameters to search for desired information

    1. Funding Segment String Values: Leave as default or enter or search for specific values

    2. Invoice No Starts with: Leave blank or enter the beginning values for a set of Invoices

    3. Transaction Date Prior to: Leave blank or select a date

    4. Customer Name: Leave as default or select a specific customer name

  2. After entering search parameters, select Apply.

After adding values to the “Selected” criteria, select Search.

Step 3: Review Report Output

The Original Invoice Amount and the Balance Due column reflect the total amount charged to the Customer per invoice.

Note

If invoice amounts are applied to multiple funding sources, you will see multiple lines with the same total on this report.

Step 4: Export Report to Excel (optional)

Export report output to Excel.

The report will generate in Excel as a download on your computer.

Step 5: Schedule Report for Email Notification (optional)

Tip

The AR Aging Report can be scheduled to send an output to your email. To schedule the report to be emailed, follow the steps below.

  1. Complete the Parameters tab for the information you would like to have populated on the report

  2. On the Output tab, select the format in which you want the report to be delivered.

    1. The Destination Type defaults to Email, update as needed.

    2. Enter the recipient email in the *To field.

  3. On the Schedule tab, select the frequency and start date for you to receive the report

  4. Select the Submit Button in the upper right-hand corner to begin your scheduled process or the Return button to return to the report.
